In the process of a single night....anyone who had been in the area of the market place would be able to hear the sounds banging and sawing and other such noises coming from within The Black Cat.

Should anyone investigate, they'd simply meet with a closed door (should there actually be a door) and a sign saying "Closed" and giving the usual business hours.

While anyone may investigate the next day, it will seem little has changed. Except now there is a rather prominent creek in many of the floor boards as one walks about the now painted mostly black shop.
