[OOC DM's Note]
This blade is designed to attack only good things? If then, a Paladin cannot use it without ceasing to be a Paladin. He or She would be an anti-paladin, and considered to be KOS, just like every other necro in our continuity.
Another point, it's far too powerful for the continuity. No blade gives a +14 to hit/damage. That's a higher base stat than our 20th level blademasters.
Another, and much more important point, that blade was -my- quest item that had a specific purpose. I suppose I'll have to give out a far more quest-useful blade later.
And yet another point, to create a blade with this kind of bonus would require not only a few hundred preps, but a BCR of something fairly significant, like 80. I'm nerfing the blade to +2 vs. Good/-4 vs. Evil. Wisper enchantment intact.

Kitzi, on one note, there were no witnesses. As far as she knows, it's a normal blade. Phanth was the only one around when Micheru curse/enchanted it, but was unconscious. Guess why.
Anyway, I do agree with you that the blade seems a bit strong. But the real value is in the urges to kill. Not so much the blade's strength. The fact that it's a Paladin wielding it. And she wouldn't know where the urges come from, at that. Just a bit... interesting, and it'd be a shame to null such a fine idea into nothing. ::cough::Tornado Strike::cough:: |

I believe it shouldn't be that powerful (Narrator), but I also think it shouldn't be that weak either (Kitzibeth) I suggest maybe some midway point. Example: Healers: +4 Paladins +5, Angels +10, with the requirement that the user MUST attack and defeat at least one opponent every 2 days in a non-spar situation or suffer loss of blade or something like that. (Moves on to some new person that better suits it's purpose etc.)
Just a suggestion.
P.S Still mean to have -4 to evil creatures there. _________________ A revolutionary new design!

Ali was a witness, as I was told.

The urges are still there. The rather extreme +'s have been nerfed down to reasonable levels.
And Tornado Strike? That was a mistake _________________ Sirum Hest: [It reads: It's great to be smart 'cause then you know stuff.]

Mmmmm... Not loss of blade, perhaps... insanity. That's always much more fun, and it seems more the thing Mich would do. |

Okay, maybe loss of blade and insanity then? =P Would be a shame to waste such an interesting item on a crazy person. _________________ A revolutionary new design!

Temporary insanity. The blade sends her on a mindless journey to fulfill what it was made for until it becomes satisfied. Then she blacks out, and when she wakes, she doesn't remember any of it. |

Hikari... Micheru is a BAD person. Not GOOD. He likes manipulating people, and killing and all that stuff. He's with the Dark Alliance. |

Obviously she becomes less than a being of light, besides it's not a class thing I'm trying to make extinct with Catherine, it's just you. =P My thoughts would be that Lakosha would either become an evil killing fanatic or an evil being herself, in which case Catherine might intervene... Assuming my computer gets fixed soon enough. _________________ A revolutionary new design!

Ahh, facilitating roleplay
Either way, in our continuity, +1 and +2 weapons are rare, as are +1 and +2 focus items. You can buy them, but if you're not a starting char, you have to pay an arm and a leg per plus.
+5 is pushing it, and usually found on NPCs or special quest items.
+14 is right out.
I'm sorry, but I've gotta stick to what will keep Ansteorra exciting and not let it degenerate to munchkinfest. _________________ Sirum Hest: [It reads: It's great to be smart 'cause then you know stuff.]

Do I get a say in this? I know I am a nice person, but for anyone who has read anything on my chars past would realize that the current predicament fits in perfectly. I do not wish to go completely evil, but would like someone to save me from this impending insanity cycle.
Though I do like the idea of killing people passing out and having no memory of it. ^^
On another note i can still stay paladin. In D&D pen and paper game there is a class called Fallen Paladin. Completly evil, but that really doesn't describe me. since i am going temporarily evil, hopefully ;.; _________________ ~A true warrior knows when to stop the bloodshed~
