In theory, they were merely insurrectionists, trained by the increasingly pervasive Blackwatch of the Kebeyen Republic, meant to destroy the ability of other governments to maintain internal dominance over their territory. In reality, they were criminals, little better than thugs, though deemed intelligent enough by the recruiters to serve the purpose of High Chancellor Mazus. Whatever they were it didn't matter much to Aaron Blackspear, he just knew that one of them was here, and he was offering weapons and resources that would allow the formation of a new syndicate, to rival the Thieves' Guild. That was why they tolerated the talkative bastard son of a goat, despite his excessively irritating demeanour. Hefting what they had been told was the latest in personal weaponry out of the Republic, Aaron looked upon the city of Ansteorra. Oh the pickings would be ripe in this town, oh yes. Bwahaahaa Bwahaa haa-haa.
