(These are, for the most part basic things that anyone with the proper resources would be able to learn about the Republic.)

Kebeyen Council: The final authority within the Republic, consisting of representatives from thirty-two districts (Previously thirty-eight, while the districts of Ansteorra were still represented.) they lead the nation in all matters of state. Most of the higher ranking officials were also granted a district to serve as governor over, and thereby gain a seat within the council.

High Chancellor: The one who leads the proceedings in any meeting involving the Kebeyen Council, usually also being the most influential person at the time and the most respected by the populace. A chancellor is picked via nomination, supported by at least three others on the council, only then to be elected by a two-thirds majority, and can only be removed from the position with a similar vote. To date there has only been one High Chancellor of the Kebeyen Republic, and that was the Liberator Damien Reelin, though Eryn Mazus has been nominated for the position by Steven Goldfang, Sealmistress Errynus, Sarah Goldfang, and Hedon Bloodknife.

District Governor: Representatives of a particular area within the Republic, originally appointed by the Council after the Liberation War, but elected after the first five years pass by the populace of the respective district. Candidates must be nominated first by three members of a district committee and then voted upon by all within the district. There are thirty-two districts.

District Committee: Individuals who are chosen by their peers to a group that determines the needs of their area, and then passes that on to the District Governor. They are typically individuals who have normal lives and work, as they receive no pay for this position.

War of Liberation: The conflict that resulted in the Kebeyen Republic becoming, for a few weeks, the largest nation within the Freelands. The span of time in which Tharivol was claimed, Austia was attacked and surrendered after losing their capital, Launcia was conquered, Himo was conquered, and finally Ansteorra was conquered.

The Cataclysm: The span of time in which The Great Divide was formed as the Destroyer moved south out of Sargothas, the Dwarven Empire of Khazad Ankor resurfaced, the Holy Launcian Empire resurfaced, and Xanthia was carved into two separate nations. The Republic suffered greviously during this time, though the lands were newly won.

War of Conquest: The return of the Queen. During this period of time it's believed that the Liberator Damien Reelin was slain at the hands of insurgents. Ansteorra was declared an independent nation once more.

~~~
Liberation Army soldiers: Led by General Hedon Bloodknife and Elysa Hasin. They are the main body of the Republican army, though at this time largely inactive aside from massing along the Kebeyen/Austian border along with garrisoning their forts. Most are survivors of the War of Liberation, though new recruits have been found in the years following that conflict.
Rising Phoenix Guardians: Led by Lord Steven Goldfang. The elite soldiers, veterans in conflict, having often fought many battles prior to the wars that tore strife through the Freelands. Unflinchingly loyal to the memory of their former leader Damien Reelin, despite their belief in his demise. Many among their number have deserted to bolster the strength of the rebel faction supporting Miranda Truesight, though still retaining their old name. Their symbol is a phoenix rising from the ashes, crowned by a halo of stars
-Three indicates a common soldier, respected, but not having yet moved up in rank from this initial point.
-Five indicates a commander of soldiers, either Liberation Army or Guardians, typically well-versed in combat and possessing talents from many ranges of life.
-Seven indicates the highest echelon of power within their ranks, typically only possessed by Generals or other high ranking officials within the Republic. To date only eight have been known to achieve it and are known by name and appearance. (Damien, Errynus, Mazus, Hedon, Steven, Miranda, Draken, and Tril)
Kebeyen Phoenix: An honourary title bestowed upon any who are recognized by the council as having gone above and beyond the call of duty in any number of fields, not just restricted to military or politics. Many are loyal to the initial ideals that formed their nation and protest Mazus' appointment as head of the Kebeyen Council. They however, have not sepparated themselves from the Republic to join with rebel factions. Many of their number are also on the Council itself. Their symbol is a phoenix over the dawning sun.
Blackwatch: Formally referred to as the Phoenix Intelligence Network and led by High Chancellor Eryn Mazus. The policing and espionage division of the initial Rising Phoenix, unflinchingly loyal to their leader beyond even their loyalty to the Kebeyen Republic. Feared within the Republic, and a source of wariness for many in the rest of Feanor. They were those responsible for rooting out traitors, a task they maintain that they do with ample talent, despite the insurgent groups. Their symbol is a bloodies blade over a silver crescent moon.
Acolyte's Commune: Led by Sealmistress Errynus, formerly by Sealmaster Tril. They are the magical backbone of the Republic, initially founded of idealistic seal-users to deal with the threat of mages possessed by other nations. Since the War of Liberation, they have developed into something akin to their Tigathan counterparts, seeking knowledge, though almost all of it is aimed to additional power, the power to kill. They bear no symbols, but are recognizable easily enough by the extensive tatooing of fur and flesh.
~~~

First Colony: The capital of the Kebeyen Republic since it's formation prior to the War of Liberation. It is situated within the heart of the mountain ranges sepparating the Thamrivol Desert and Ansteorra nestling in a newly made paradise-like valley. Protected heavily by militaristic and magical might and kept well fertile through the constant efforts of the Acolyte's Commune.

War Labs: An extensive complex hidden beneath the sands of the Thamrivol desert, little is known of the place aside from the fact that they were the ones responsible for crafting new weapons of magic and metal for the Republic. They were the ones who made the hunters currently employed by Mazus to police the borders of his nation.

Ciest Dalien: Former capital of Old Austia, now being reconstructed due to it's valuable position as a conduit for trade, and the Republic's new policy of keeping a firmer eye on the New Austians.
