From the Works of His Grace, Karl von Klausengruber, Archbishop of the Southern Launcian Diocese (trans.)

As we have stated, resurrection is the literal tearing of the weave to restore a lost soul to its former self after death, as opposed to being recycled into an unaware reincarnation or being destroyed and replaced. As such, this would place the jurisdiction of "Fate" [OOC: see the mythos of the Moirai - Clotho, who wove the thread of life; Lachesis, who measured the thread; and Atropos, who cut the thread at the end of life] in the hands of the Dreamweavers.

It seems only logical that a true resurrection as opposed to an illusion or a necromantic animation must come in the form of a cleric's request to his Prime to beseech permission to alter the design of Wevvyn and Sek. Note that I say it must be a request - not a spell, but an actual request for a miracle. Note further that it is a request to his Prime to act as an emissary to the Dreamweavers FOR the cleric; not a direct request.

In this instance, it seems only right that a dead furre would be best served by a cleric of his own patron, or at the very least a cleric of those Primes best aligned with the deceased's own patron, who might be convinced to act in their sibling's interest. In terms of those who are pantheistic, such direct attention could not be guaranteed, unless that dead furre had somehow captured the attention or approbation of one or more of the Primes. For those who defy or otherwise deny the Primes, there is no hope of resurrection - the Primes would feel that such a furre would be best removed from the dream once slain, and rightly so.

As for members of other races, the only real hope would be an appeal to their patron Gods or Goddesses to intervene and reclaim their souls from whatever plane the dead of any given non-furre race resides on. This essay must make, for the sake of academia, the assumption that such creatures have souls, and that their Gods and Goddesses exist. Again, this must be a request, and not a spell. No force on Feanor can be more powerful than Death, save the hands of the Primes themselves, or possibly those whom the lesser races foolishly consider their equals.

I pray that those who would seek to revive others from beyond the veil of the Dreamweave do so with the utmost reverence and caution - more often than not, a furre lies dead for a very good reason. Far be it from one as humble as I, a servant of Patrilus, to question the will of the great Primes and their grey servant, Death.

His Grace was assassinated three weeks after publication of this essay by an outraged professor of Arcane Writings, who swore that he had discovered the secret to reviving the dead with enchanted onion broth in an ancient manuscript six months prior. He was resurrected two days prior, and promptly fell on his sword, begging forgiveness. He is currently being reviewed for canonization.
