A small rumor floats about...
Rivyn has left, apparently following news from his ferocious rodent friend. Soon after a small incident in the tavern, the rat delivered some news about drow, giants, and fire, in rather broken feral, and was ordered ahead, along with orders to slay wizards and clerics. Soon after, the dendroidic druid followed suit, disapearing into the woods to north.

Not coincidentally, large numbers of Treants, Golems, and various fey creatures (sprites, pixies, and more than a few elves) started patrolling the great northern forest, creatures normally confined to the heart of the wood stalking it's edges. It has become quite unsafe to enter the woods at any time, and even more dangerous being even near it at night.
