Rogue

Primal Ability Scores: Dexterity, Strength

"Cloak and dagger, sword and shadow. Welcome to the Underworld."

--Ajax Avelhar, leader of the Starlight Avengers

In the streets of Calenndor, there are those who choose a slightly darker path than the other denizens. Whether they be spies, thieves, or assassins, they live by stealth and secrecy. These individuals prefer to lay in wait for an enemy and ambush them rather than face them up front. Rogues are generally chaotic in nature, and don't have that much respect for lawful authority.

Rogues make a valuable addition to a party. Their backstab attacks can deal a large amount of damage, especially when fighting characters of lower level. This ability is their only real strong point, and therefore it is important to use it prudently. Instead of sneaking up on an enemy right away, it might be a good idea to experiment and use it at a critical moment. A versatile range of feats and weapons makes the rogue class adjustable for just about any shady character.
